Herrington Lake Chapter Donation Drive for Waggin Tails Pet Resort

  • Tuesday, September 13, 2022
  • Friday, September 30, 2022
  • Northpoint Training Center

Donations are being collected for Waggin Tails Pet Resort which has turned into an emergency shelter for the displaced pets of the Eastern Kentucky flood. Owner, Tara Ritchie was on her 16th day as a pet grooming business and turned it into a shelter. She and her team have taken in strays that have lost their homes/ cannot find their owners, as well as a place for families to board their pets so they can work on their home situation. She is doing this all free of charge and has reunited over 30 families with their missing pets. She also donates items to the community as well. Let’s show them our KCCD & Northpoint Support!

Most needed donations: Puppy and small dog food, puppy pads & kitty litter. All types of pet donations are more than welcome. They currently house dogs, cats, and 2 ferrets.

Places to drop donations: ITC Training Room (M. Beeler), Records (K. Napier), or Staff Canteen (Cart).

Donations will be accepted until September 30, 2022.

Any questions please call Monica Beeler 859-239-7012 ext. 2071
